West Virginia University's production of Cabaret.
Director: Lee Blair
Costume Designer: Candice Day
For Sally- Two identical wigs were made from pre-bought wigs. The main wig was de-wefted of the darker red and a brighter red was sewn in. The top of the wig was cut out and replaced with the brighter red as well. The wig was then cut and styled to match.
For Fraulein Kost- Lace was added to the front of a pre-bought wig. It had wefts taken out and sparse highlights added throughout the back of the wig. The front was ventilated to include a natural chunky highlight. The highlight was also threaded through the skin top. It was then curled and set to style
For Bobby, The Gorilla, Kit Kat Band, and Telephone Girl- Stock wigs were pulled and styled.
